Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

WEll, I bought it the day it came out, and have read it obsessively since. IT overcomse the failure of the last book.....overturns all the familiar plot devices of the past five books. I won't say anything for fear of giving it away. But sufficed to say these are no longer childrens books. After finishing the last one hundred pages, I myself am in shock along with the characters. It's absolutely mad. Good but mad. And very dark. I do not want to wait the time for the next, it left on such a note. I want a resolution. There is no happy ending, or even a neat wrapup with a lighter ending. No kicking voldy's ass and cheekily waving a finger at him and returning to school. o_O *Sigh* Damnit. I think I shall go mad before the next book comes out. .......But when I get off work I'm going to go have a drink. Crazy stuff. I can't remember when a book this much affected my mood.
